Dear M&M SC members,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to IE for the upcoming Management & Marketing Standing Committe´s Mid-term meeting scheduled for February, 10th-13th, 2016 in Madrid.
It is an honor to host a group of librarians from all over the world: Smithsonian Institution Libraries (USA), National Library of Greece, Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Egypt), Aberystwyth University (UK), New Jersey State Library (USA), Lower Saxony Library Association (Germany), National Library of Lithuania, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (USA), University of Manitoba (Canada), Goethe-Institut (Germany), Florida State University (USA), Lincoln University (New Zeland), Bibliothèque publique d’information (Paris), Zeeuwse Bibliotheek Middelburg (Netherlands), Peking University Library (China), Hordaland County Library (Norway), University of Ottawa (Canada), Russian State Library, Biblioteksentralen A/L (Norway), Ryerson University (Canada) and Êcole Supérieure de Banque (Algeria)
The meeting will be focused on having the SC business meetings and the IFLA BibLibre International Library Marketing Award Jury meetings. We will also have the opportunity to meet Spanish librarians and share our experiences about “Libraries & Technology“. But definetly we will have time to get into the Spanish culture and discover it´s flavors.
To facilitate your time at IE Business School & IE University, and your stay in Madrid, we have prepared the information below which we hope you will find useful.

The first and the second winner will receive airfare, lodging and registration for the World Library and Information Congress: 82nd IFLA General Conference and Assembly in Columbus, Ohio, USA 13 – 19 August 2016. Cash awards of €2000, €1000 and €500 respectively, which must be used to further their marketing efforts, will also be awarded to the first, second and third-place winners.
